Ana Marie Cox was the founding editor of Wonkette.com, a political satire and gossip blog based in Washington, D.C., and is the author of the novel Dog Days. She got her start in online journalism at the pioneering daily webzine Suck before moving on through a series of short-lived, brilliant but doomed business ventures (Feed magazine and Inside.com among them). She lives in Washington with her husband, Chris Lehmann, and three pets of varying degrees of adorability. She'd like that martini very dry, with one olive.
