Obama on Virginia Tech and Violence

Barack Obama spoke the other night in Milwaukee, first about the Virginia Tech tragedy and then about other forms of violence in American society, as he put it, which range from people losing their jobs to Don Imus' joke about the Rutgers women's basketball team. The Politco's Ben Smith pulled some of the controversial quotes from Obama's 23-minute speech, the audio of which can be heard here.

RCP's transcript of Senator Obama's speech can be found here.
