For the record, Huckabee's response is that a number of the tax increases under his administration were approved by referendum and mandated for things like increased education funding and improving Arkansas' roads, which were among the worst in the nation. Huckabee also says he cut taxes more than 80 times during his decade long tenure as Governor.
