State Polls: IA, NH

More evidence of a Huckabee surge in today's ABC News/WaPo poll of the GOP race in Iowa:

Republicans
Romney 28 (+2 vs. last poll July 26-31)
Huckabee 24 (+16)
Thompson 15 (+2)
Giuliani 13 (-1)
McCain 6 (-2)
Paul 6 (+4)

Romney's lead in the RCP Average for Iowa is down to 7.5% as Mike Huckabee is now over the 20% mark.

UPDATE: I agree with Jonathan Martin's take: Mitt Romney has got a problem.

Elsewhere, CNN/WMUR is out with a new survey in New Hampshire (Nov 14-18) showing Hillary Clinton's lead shrinking by 9 points and Richardson getting a boost:

Democrats
Clinton 36 (-7 vs. last poll Sept 17-24)
Obama 22 (+2)
Edwards 13 (+1)
Richardson 12 (+6)

Clinton's lead in the RCP Average for New Hampshire is now down to 13.0%.

On the Republican side, what was a one-point race between Romney and Giuliani two months ago is now a 15-point bulge for Romney over McCain, with Giuliani slipping to 3rd. Paul and Huckabee ticked up, and Fred Thompson craters to sixth place:

Republicans
Romney 33 (+8 vs. last poll Sept 17-24)
McCain 18 (nc)
Giuliani 16 (-8)
Paul 8 (+4)
Huckabee 5 (+2)
Thompson 4 (-9)

Overall, Romney's lead in the updated RCP Average for New Hampshire is now up to 14.6%.
