Other notables in Pennsylvania: 54% said they would be "less likely to vote for a presidential candidate who supports issuing driver's licenses to illegal immigrants," while 39% said it would not affect their vote.
Among Democrats, 51% said they were "very likely" or "somewhat likely" to change their mind about who they were supporting, on the Republican side that number is 65%. That helps account for the fact that a majority (53%) think Hillary does not have the Democratic nomination locked up, and an even larger percentage (72%) say Rudy's doesn't have his party's nomination locked up either.
41% say they will note vote for Hillary under any circumstances, including 82% of Republicans, 37% Independents, and 8% of Democrats. Conversely, 33% said they wouldn't vote for Rudy under any circumstances, including 53% of Democrats, 32% of Independents, and 10% of Republicans.
Jop approval ratings: President Bush 29%, Senator Arlen Specter (R) 54%, Senator Bob Casey, Jr. (D) 49%.
In Connecticut, the new Quinnipiac poll (November 1 - 5, 291 Republicans, MoE +/- 5.7%; 385 Democrats, MoE +/- 5%) shows, not suprisingly, Clinton and Giuliani way ahead of their respective fields and running neck and neck against each other in a general election match up:
