Georgia doesn't get much attention, but with 103 delegates at stake for the Dems and 72 at stake for the Republicans, it is the sixth largest Feb 5th primary state for the Dems and the 3rd largest for the GOP. That said, Strategic Vision is out with a new poll in the Peach State (Dec 7-9, 800 Dem & GOP LV, MoE +/- 3.0%) showing Barack Obama only seven points behind Hillary Clinton:
Democrats
Clinton 34
Obama 27
Edwards 12
Richardson 5
Undecided 18
On the Republican side, Huckabee has surged into first place while Giuliani has fallen back into third:
Republicans
Huckabee 23
Thompson 20
Giuliani 17
McCain 11
Romney 10
Paul 4
Undecided 12
Other notables: job approval ratings - President Bush 39%, Gov Sonny Perdue (R) 56%, Senator Johnny Isakson (R) 58%, Senator Saxby Chambliss (R) 53%.
In head to head Senate match ups, Chambliss easily beats all comers on the Democratic side:

Cardwell (D) 25
Chambliss (R) 58
