DES MOINES, IA - Here is Mike Huckabee yesterday, explaining the context of the NY Times Magazine article that created such a buzz and saying that he apologized to Mitt Romney after the debate:
Asked to comment on Huckabee's apology, Romney spokesperson Kevin Madden responded last night via email with this statement:
Governor Romney accepted the apology. He continues to believe that this campaign should not be about questioning a candidate's faith. While it is fair to criticize an opponent's record or policy positions, it is out of bounds for one candidate to question another's personal faith.
