Rudy: What, Me Worry?

Rudy says he ain't sweating the Huckabee surge, at least not yet. As Tom noted below, Rudy's strategy is focused on New Hampshire, not Iowa, where Huckabee needs to pull out a win. So for now the two are keeping it clean, but should Huck beat Mitt in Iowa, the gloves will surely come off.

"Sure he has [gained in the polls]. I think every poll shows that. Mike has gained quite a bit in the last month and a half," Giuliani said.

"I don't see ANY candidates as a threat to my campaign. My campaign is my campaign. I've got to reach out to Republican voters. Whether it's Mike Huckabee or someone else there will always be competitors."

"And it's my job to convince the Republican Party that I'm the most electable Republican. I'd be able to beat the Democrats. I can put more states in play than any other Republican including the state of California."
