More Michigan Polls

More new polls out in Michigan. First, a new Detroit Free Press survey conducted by Selzer & Co. (Jan 9-11, 600 GOP LV, MoE +/-4.0%) shows Mitt Romney leading John McCain by 5 points:

Thompson 4

Second, a new Detroit News/WXYZ survey (Jan 9-12, 604 GOP LV, MoE +/-4.0%) shows a very tight race, with McCain leading Romney by a single point and Mike Huckabee running a not so distant third:

Giuliani 6
Thompson 5
Paul 4
Undecided 10

Lastly, Mitchell Interactive has released the second day of its tracking poll (Jan 9, 10, 12, 520 GOP LV, MoE +/-4.3%) showing Romney cutting into McCain's lead:

McCain 22 (-1 vs. previous day)
Romney 21 (+4)
Huckabee 12 (+1)
Giuliani 7 (-1)
Paul 7 (-1)
Thompson 3 (+1)

UPDATE: Mason-Dixon is out with a new poll in Michigan as well (Jan 9-11, 400 GOP LV, MoE +/- 5.0%) showing Romney with an eight point lead:

Overall, McCain now leads Romney Romney now leads McCain by less than a percentage point in the RCP Average for Michigan.
