USAT/Gallup Poll: Obama Surges

USA Today/Gallup is out with a new poll (Feb 21-24, 1,009 Dems and Dem-Leaning Independents) showing Barack Obama surging to a 12 point lead over Clinton:

Obama 51
Clinton 39

This result is at odds with Gallup's daily tracking poll, the most recent version of which (conducted Feb 22-24, 1,294 Dems and Dem-Leaning Independents), shows Obama with a tiny lead over Clinton:

Obama 47
Clinton 45

Meanwhile, in the newly released USAT/Gallup, John McCain squeaks by both in a general election match up:

McCain 50 - Clinton 46
McCain 48 - Obama 47
