PA Poll: More Slippage For Clinton

New Quinnipiac poll in Pennsylvania (April 3-6, 1,340 Dem LV, MoE +/- 2.6%) showing Obama closing the gap slightly with Clinton:

Clinton 50 (nc vs. last poll April 2)
Obama 44 (+3)

Overall, Clinton's lead in the RCP Average for Pennsylvania slipped another half point down to 6.1%.

Some notes on the Quinnipiac results:

* Obama gained on Clinton across virtually every demographic group, including women.

* Clinton's favorable/unfavorable rating was unchanged from last week's survey while Obama's improved by a net of 6 points (63/21 to 67/19).

* The economy continues to pick up traction as the most important issue, rising to 52% from 48% last month.

* In terms of the most important quality voters want in a candidate, trustworthiness has bumped up 4 points in the last month (to 27% from 23%) while "shares my values" has declined the same amount (to 18% from 22%).

*As a backdrop to today's Senate testimony by Gen. Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker, 84% of likely Democratic voters in PA think Iraq was a mistake. Fifty-eight percent would like to see us set a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq, while 29% would like to see us get all troops out of Iraq immediately.
