McCain's Secret Weapon in Florida

It ain't Charlie Crist. Read this piece by Jodi Kantor in today's New York Times and McCain's biggest weapon in Florida doesn't seem all that secret:
Many Florida Jews Express Doubts on ObamaBOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - At the Aberdeen Golf and Country Club on Sunday, the fountains were burbling, the man-made lakes were shining, and Shirley Weitz and Ruth Grossman were debating why Jews in this gated neighborhood of airy retirement homes feel so much trepidation about Senator Barack Obama. [snip]
"The fate of the world for the next four years," mused Rabbi Ruvi New as his Sunday morning Kabbalah & Coffee class dispersed in East Boca Raton.
"It's all going to boil down to a few old Jews in Century Village," he added, referring to a nearby retirement community.
I suspect more than a "few old Jews" along Florida's Gold Coast will be favorably disposed to hearing from one of McCain's most passionate and outspoken supporters: Joe Lieberman.
McCain is already running ahead of Obama in Florida, thanks to his appeal among the Cuban-American community, the large military presence in the state, and his strength in the more conservative panhandle region. Lieberman's ability to draw Jewish voters (representing 5% of the electorate) could help lock down Florida's prized 27 electoral votes for McCain.
