Poll: 64% of Dems Say Clinton Should Stay In

That's the nut from the new ABC News/Washington Post survey (May 8-11). In the nomination battle, Obama holds a solid lead:

Obama 53 (+2 vs. last poll April 13)
Clinton 41 (nc)

Overall, Obama leads by 5.4% in the RCP National Average.

In the general election, Obama has extended his margin over McCain in the last month to seven points from five, and over the same period Clinton has turned a three point deficit into a three point lead over McCain:

Obama 51
McCain 44

Clinton 49
McCain 46

Overall, Obama leads McCain by 4.5% in the RCP General Election Average. Clinton leads McCain by a nearly identical margin of 4.8%.
