Tom Edsall says it looks like it's over:

Hillary Clinton has summoned top donors and backers to attend her speech tomorrow night in an unusual move that is being widely interpreted to mean she plans to suspend her campaign and endorse Barack Obama.

The way this campaign has gone, I won't believe it until I see it. But maybe we'll see it tomorrow night.

UPDATE: Wow. People are just a wee bit sensitive these days. I originally titled this post "Is The Fat Lady Clearing Her Throat," not realizing there are people out there who would think I was referring to Hillary as a literal "fat lady," as opposed to invoking the metaphorical one who is known to sing when an event of some kind comes to an end. As a result, I caved to political correctness and changed the title out of fear of receiving further emails calling me a "low-ethics creature" and a sexist.
