Still Too Cool for Preschool
My encounter with the rough-and-tumble world of confessional-parents' literature continues, as "new urban parent" magazine Babble's Strollerderby blog hosts the first part of a Q&A with me, about my thoughts about Strollerderby's thoughts (and thoughts and thoughts) about my thoughts. That's right: the first part--the literary free-for-all over alternaparents' writing is too big a subject to be contained by one mere blog post. If this is successful enough, we could be looking at a series. I'm thinking HBO. Or maybe Noggin.
About Tuned In
James Poniewozik writes TIME magazine's Tuned In column, about pop culture and society. Tuned In, the blog version, is about the stuff we used to call "TV," whether it's in your living room, on your computer or--once the networks figure out the technology and line up the advertisers--in your dreams themselves.

I'm thinking more along the lines of THE BLUE AND THE GRAY.

LOL.....I have had sooo much fun reading this stuff.
I am a (gasp) mommy blogger, but I made the fatal mistake of actually agreeing with you, and have basically said the same thing in the past too.
You can imagine how popular I am!
I think you will need your own counter-hip 'zine to handle the discussion that could go on till the hipsters hips give out.
