Strike Watch: Levitating Hollywood With Our Minds
Add to your to-do list today: send positive thoughts to L.A. The negotiations between the studios and writers resume today, and with them, the last best chance for ending this thing by Christmas and salvaging the TV season. At Deadline Hollywood Daily, Nikki Finke passes on word from a source that a deal may already be in the works. She adds that nothing is set in stone and cautions, "I don't want to raise false hope here."
Well, at Tuned In, we totally want to raise false hope! Consider the strike over, baby! After all, we're talking about Hollywood, right? Perception is reality. If you can dream it, you can be it!

Una niña amable como un pino español.
Tu es una niña
amable como un
pino español, siento
el tormento en el
sueño infinito de la
nueva mañana, y
la vida regresa
en el tímido canto
que silente decora…..

Hey James I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. Was this season of Heroes intended to only be 11 episodes?
Monday, November 26, 2007 at 1:16 pm
Karma:
no, it wasn't. The 2nd season was meant to be told in three story arcs, and the 11th episode is the end of the first story arc. So instead of leaving viewers hanging, Kring decided to rewrite the 11th episode into a season finale, in case of (the very real) strike.
On another (related) note...-sigh- deadlinehollywood says that even if the deal is real, it probably won't be till christmas. which means bye bye Heroes. Just when it was getting good.
